Ukraine is a very beautiful destination and the people are super nice. It's an underrated destination that has the full potentials to be the next trending travel destination very soon. I want to create off- the beaten track of active and culture tours in just one week. Despite the challenging itineraries, active Ukraine team did it very well. We enjoyed meeting the locals, home made food, accommodations and activities. Everything in the program was done as planned. Highly recommended.

We were a little apprehensive going to a country where even the alphabet would be indecipherable. Oksana was good at tailoring our trip to our needs and wants, even when we weren't sure ourselves what we wanted. It was so great to be taken care of from the moment we got off the plane. Not having to stress about any of the logistics really made the trip so much more enjoyable than if we had tried to do it ourselves, even more so since during our trip we realized that we COULDN'T have had all the interesting experiences without their network of contacts; it is still off the western tourist beaten path. Once out of the cities, Russian was the only foreign language that people spoke! Going through Active Ukraine we got to see aspects of the country that we couldn't have even begun to imagine was possible. The combination of strong traditions and beautiful scenery will make this region a hotspot destination.The Carpathians are really a natural and cultural gem that I hope are developed responsibly, and I find your company has done well at finding the right activities. Our guides were great, despite the language barrier our drivers were fun, the scenery was beautiful, the masterclasses were interesting, all in all, it was a fantastic trip! Thank you so much.

Most excellent fun in the beautiful Carpathians! The Bily Slon campsite and the organization by Active Ukraine tour group combined to make a long weekend hiking trip and unforgettable experience. The easy first day hike through forests and hills, visiting a local farm stead and descending in the evening through the blossoming fruit trees was a good start. The second day was on one of the classic Carpathian tour routes, past waterfalls and wooden huts to the top of Pip Ivan mountain (2020m elevation I believe) and the ruined observatory building, meeting with a number of other happy hiking groups. From the top, and frequently along the way, long panoramas of ridgelines and snowfields, with mist and floating pine pollen forming clouds among the hills. A long day's hike, but well worth the effort, and only medium difficulty. The accommodations can meet varying standards, either in well-appointed two-level cabins with fireplace, private bath and sleeping for up to six, or two types of budget housing, in a group hostel with bunkhouse sleeping or in bungalows for groups of up to four - shower and toilet in the common bath house. Meals were plain and no alcohol is sold on site, but the hosts go out of their way to meet guests' needs.

We had a lot of fun! Nadiya was a great host and really took the time to explain us everything. The Vareniky were super tasty and she even gave us soup to taste. Afterwards, she even helped us post a letter I had been trying to send. We really enjoyed our time!

Active Ukraine organised two days in the Carpathian Mountains where we did white water kayaking, horse riding and hiking. We then went to Lviv where we did a two hour food tour and learnt to make varenyky. Everything was very well organised and having our transfers arranged by them was extremely helpful and made a big difference to our trip.

I will have to come back once in the summertime! Many thanks to your team for arranging my trip in such short notice. I'm not very good with snow but it was still enjoyable and I got to see a very interesting side of Ukraine :)

Active Ukraine offered a great full day bike tour through Downtown and a couple of parks in the afternoon. I saw a lot and tasted something of the local life.
