KAYAKING IN KYIV
- You will be instructed how to kayak and behave on water
- You will go in a kayak about 15km down the river during 4-5 hours
- You will have a refreshing picnic on one of Dnipro’s uninhabited islands
- You will enjoy river banks sightseeing and guide’s comments along the route
- You will see Kyiv from an unusual side
On your request we can offer other routes and location or a combined cycling/kayaking active tour in Kyiv (You will start by bike in the biggest city park – Golosievo and proceed by kayak in Dnipro floodplain meadow in Korchuvate district. Duration: all day. Fitness level: trained).

A guided sightseeing journey along the Dnipro river on a kayak. Meet Kyiv from a different view.
We present this tour in cooperation with our partner Ukrainian rental network “Kayak Canoe Center” in Kyiv, Mykhailo Petelytskyy
Meet your guide at Minska underground railway station and take a walk to Obolon kayak base.
After a safety instruction, get in your kayak and start rowing.
On the route make stops to listen to the guide telling what you can see around.
Enjoy the view from the water of Obolon and Podil districts, Pecherski hills decorated with golden-dome churches, gorgeous monuments and parks greenery, a mixture of modern architecture, small private buildings and gardens of the city’s left bank part.
After 10 km make a stop at Malyi island next to Paton bridge to take a rest and enjoy a traditional Ukrainian picnic.
Finish your tour after 5km more rowing at Hydropark kayak rent base.
