CARPATHIAN SKITOURING/FREERIDE - SKIING IN UKRAINE
The tour is a perfect chance to undergo a miraculous winter adventure and enjoy the thrill of skiing in Ukraine. Climbing by foot to the tops of the mountains, sleeping in a wooden shelter will be a great adventure of the trip – the freeride. With experienced instructors, there will be time for riding, analysis, and jokes around the fireplace.

The feeling of unity with nature within a small group will be the best memory you will remember all year long. Planning the routes according to the weather, riding in adventurous conditions will clean up your mind and will use all your muscles to reach the destination.
DAY 1 – WELCOME
Arrive early in the morning to Ivano-Frankivsk railway station.
Travel to the base camp for your skitouring in the heart of the Carpathian mountains.
On the first day have a testing ride to Kosaryshche-Stepanskyy mountain ridge – alt. 1184m.
In the evening relax back in the campsite.
Skitour route will be chosen according to the weather conditions and group members fitness level.
DAY 2 – GADZHYNA
Highland meadow Gadzhyna is your second day skiing place. Explore the ridge and freeride ski in the afternoon.
Stay for a night at a highland ski base camp – shepherds’ wooden shelter, or at a makeshift camp.
DAY 3 – SHPYTSI Mt.
This day you will cover about 6 km of mountain paths ascending to the altitude of 1863m of Mt. Shpytsi and more than 8km of downhill skiing to the foothills.
Day 4 – FAREWELL
Before you leave the camp, spend time relaxing and sit in a group to analyse your skitouring technique and new experience.
Transfer to Ivano-Frankivsk r/w station.
Pricing per person
Price starts from 260 EURO per person for a group of 4. Your price will depend on the accommodation of choice and its availability. Email us to know more.

- 2 nights in Carpathian campsite, +1 night in a highland shelter

Where you will stay
You will stay at a hostel of Bilyi Slon campsite for two nights. Upgrade possible to a private cottage or bungalow on request.
